Jeremy and his team of professional young butchers have been busy entering their famous sausages for the W.A. Sausage King Competition.
Result : Second Place for the Pork Cumberland Sausages.
CONGRATULATIONS to Jeremy and his skilled butchers!
Swanbourne 6:30pm…….Dusk falls and skipping out of our serviced office we make a bee-line for Jeremy’s, hoping there’s still something left for dinner – something already prepared that’s going to be easy, fast and nutritious – and make us look good because its been treated to herbs, spices, stuffings, coatings, rolls and twists. Jeremy’s prepared food section makes cooking easier and his long and late opening hours help us shop outside of our family and work timetables. It’s great to get the guys’ advice on cooking the meat – whether its barbecue, stove top or oven.
Hey Jeremy – why not hold a Cumberland Sausage Sizzle one Saturday morning so we can do the taste test ?
I was introduced to Cumberland sausage when I lived and worked in the UK. Delicious
I’m sure a taste testing would prove very popular. Probably put up sales as well. Maybe you can suggest it.

well I would have voted as I know Jeremey’s butchers .. and they are as you say a really great butcher. I don’t go there any more .. for two reasons: 1. I moved out of the area – and 2. I recently returned to being very close to a vegetarian. The eating nothing that had a face has an appeal for me in these days. Sorry Jeremy but I am sure you won’t miss me too much!

I’d been vegetarian for a few years, but introduced meat back into my diet a few months ago – very carefully. There are two serious carnivornes in the family so I need to cater for them – after 6.30 there’s always a conversation going on in Jeremy’s – how to cook this and that and what people think of last week’s purchases. It’s a real community.

Thanks Patricia – I don’t know Cumberland sausages but now you pique my interest – I’ll pick some up for the family over the weekend….expand my repertoire and report back.
