Hallowe’en at Swanbourne Business Centre

Hallowe'en London revellers

We don’t have any ghouls or bats in the Swanbourne business centre. Hope you don’t hae any at home either!

It is fun to celebrate special dates.

Hallowe’en:  This little group of were snapped outside a restaurant on a Blackberry  by Johan of  Wahl Fashions, London last night.  [Note: the style of dress is not indicative of Wahls' range of cutting edge fashion.]   Trick or treat  anyone ?

  1. Hallowe’en came and went and all the kids got their sweets -the door bell never stopped ringin – thank god it’s over…

  2. You know I often wondered why we had to copy Halloween from the Yanks and then it hit me, there is money in it. ;) Thankfully it doesn’t seem to have taken off :)

  3. The photo was taken by friend Johan hrough a London restaurant window. I thought it was good fun.

Where I baulked at USA commercialisation of our celebrations was a Facebook piece about Valentine’s Day – it was a blog writer promoting gifts for kids for Valentines Day to show them you loved them.
I objected to her and told her to let us have some adult fun without the kids butting in. I should have directed her to your other website!

    • You’re kidding, she wants us to buy presents for our kids to show that we love them? That is so shallow, to think that the only way people can show they love someone is by buying them something.

Besides, Valentine day represents an entirely different type of love, not the sort meant for kids, or am I seeing it all wrong?

  4. You know you’re right. But the lady said that’s the way it is in USA now. Buying stuff doesn’t equate with love – unless of course we’re talking diamonds. Then maybe I make allowances. :)
